About our Speaker:
Iain Black: After starting his career in the technology industry, Iain Black served 6 + years as an MLA and cabinet minister in the Government of BC (Minister of Labour; Minister of Small Business, Technology and Economic Development). Iain was then recruited in 2011 to assume the position of President and CEO of the VBOT, and has transformed the organization with a 34% growth in Membership, financial restoration and re-emergence of the Board as a relevant, credible business voice in BC - resulting in VBOT being asked to assume key advocacy roles on regional issues.
