The Member Information Centre (MIC) is a feature within ChamberMaster - so an added benefit of participating in this event is this - if you are currently using ChamberMaster or thinking about signing up for it, this will give you an excellent understanding of how to make the best use of the MIC in your own Chamber.
Speaker:
Lisa Kowalchuk, Executive Director at Medicine Hat Chamber of Commerce (AB) since 2009, has been using ChamberMaster in her Chamber for 8 years. She's the President of CCEC and a knows first hand the benefits of belonging and accessing all the organization has to offer.
Ever since Lisa commenced her work with the Chamber, she has had a steadfast commitment to the network as a whole. She started her involvement as a Director on the Alberta Chamber Executives (ACE) in 2011, moving up to President in 2013-14. That year, she also joined the Board of CCEC and has moved up the ranks to President for 2018-2019.
Her work on the CCEC board has included chairing the webinar committee, chairing the benchmarking task force committee, as well as serving on the conference committee. She also serves as Deputy Chair of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Chamber Network Committee, the Canadian Chamber Policy Committee, and the Board of Trade Task force for the Canadian Chamber.
Medicine Hat is an accredited Chamber and awards and recogition received by Lisa include the 2011 Alberta Chamber Executive of the Year, 2012 and 2015 Alberta Chamber of the Year, Medicine Hat?s Top 40 under 40, and the 2014 Women in Business Inspire award
ChamberMaster is a CRM system that many Chambers and CCEC use. GrowthZone, the parent company of ChamberMaster, began as a provider of software and networking services in 1996. The company's first commercial product, ChamberMaster, was developed exclusively for chambers of commerce and was released in 1998 as the first affordable SaaS (Software as a Service) solution.
Lisa brings 8 years of ChamberMaster experience, having been one of the earlier adopters of the program in Canada, adter researching the options for a more customized, adaptable and affordable CRM system.
