Awarded to the chief staff person of a Chamber of Commerce / Board of Trade for outstanding performance, commitment to the Chamber Network, and community leadership.

This award recognizes exceptional Chamber leaders from across Canada with proven excellence in:

• Chamber management and operations;
• Membership retention, engagement and growth;
• Delivering innovative programs and services; 
• Community leadership; and
• Contributing to the Chamber Network 

Award Categories:

4 awards are offered based on Chamber size:

• Micro Chambers – less than 150 members
• Small Chambers – between 150 and 349 members
• Mid-sized Chambers – between 350 and 699 members
• Large Chambers – 700+ members

To be considered for an award, nominees must submit a completed award package to be reviewed by an external judging committee.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Must be the chief staff person of a Chamber of Commerce / Board of Trade in Canada.
2. Must have achieved 3 years of consecutive employment by March 16, 2026.
3. Must be a member of CCEC and the provincial Chapter if one exists. 

Chamber executives who are the sole employee are eligible and encouraged to apply!

Nominations open: January 22, 2026

Nominations close: March 16, 2026

Award packages due: May 15, 2026

Award presentation: October 27, 2026 during the #CCEC26 conference in Victoria, BC
