CCEC Webinar: Media Relations
WEBINAR: The Media, love them or hate them, the bottom line is you need them.
This 60 minute workshop will provide participants with background information that will make dealing with the media a whole lot easier, whether you are running a chamber in a small rural community or responsible for media relations with a large chamber in a metropolitan area. This session will also give you a better understanding of why the media is critically important in the work you do as a leader in your community. This session will arm participants with skills that will help improve their relationship with the media which will ultimately strengthen their Chamber's brand and reputation. With almost three decades of experience in broadcast journalism, Dan will provide participants with useful tools you can take away and apply immediately to enhance your interviews and increase your confidence in responding to the demands the media place on you and your organization. Love them or hate them, the media is here to stay and it is best that you understand their world a bit in order to create a cooperative relationship that gives them what they need while also ensuring the media lens reflects positively on your organization.
